Contragel grün Contragel grün ist ein kontrazeptives Gel zur Anwendung mit Diaphragmen und Portio-Kappen aus Naturkautschuklatex oder Silikon.

Anwendung:
Vor dem Einführen in die Scheide geben Sie ca. einen Teelöffel (ca. 4 ml) Contragel grün in das Diaphragma oder die Portiokappe. Beachten Sie hierzu die jeweilige Gebrauchsanweisung Ihres Diaphragmas oder Ihrer Portio-Kappe. Das Zellulosegel bildet eine zusätzliche mechanische Barriere zwischen dem Diaphragma (oder einer Portio Kappe) und dem Muttermund. Die Milchsäure mit ihrem physiologischen pH-Wert von 3,8 hat einen motilitätshemmenden Effekt auf die Spermien - sie werden also in ihrer Vorwärtsbewegung verlangsamt bzw. gestoppt.

Zusammensetzung:
Wasser, Milchsäure, Natriumlactat, Zellulose, Sorbinsäure.
Lagerung: Trocken bei 4° C bis 25° C lagern. Tube immer verschlossen halten.

Mindesthaltbarkeit:
Siehe Aufdruck auf der Tube. Nach dem Öffnen innerhalb von 3 Monaten verbrauchen.

Nebenwirkungen:
Contragel grün verträgt sich aufgrund des pH-Wertes gut mit der Scheidenflora. Es kann so lang und so häufig wie gewünscht angewendet werden. Sollten sie Beeinträchtigungen bei der Anwendung beobachten, beenden Sie den Gebrauch von Contragel grün und fragen Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker.

Contragel grün bietet keinen Schutz vor sexuell übertragbaren Krankheiten. Es ist nur zusammen mit der Anwendung eines Diaphragmas (z.B. Cayacontoured diaphragm) oder einer Portio-Kappe wirksam. Als Verhütungsgel allein angewandt, ohne mechanische Barriere, ist Contragel grün keine sichere Verhütungsmethode.
